Resolutions for 2010...

We have several family resolutions for 2010...one of them is to stay connected with family and friends near and far (1). Another one is to spend more time together doing things as a family (2). And yet another is to practice (and model) reading and writing for the young literacy learners in our family (3).
So...what do you get when you add 1+2+3? A family blog, of course!

Here is our first attempt. Our goal is to spend each Sunday evening together as a family planning and posting (highlights from the previous week, what we're reading and learning, things we're looking forward to, and some of our favorite photos!! So, check in when you're able, watch us grow, and feel free to respond to a post if you feel so moved. Happy New year to all of our family and friends!!!

Hellooooooo

This weekend was a good weekend. I played every single day. We had some of our family come over tonight. Tomorrow, we're going to go back to school. Grandpa is going to the hospital tomorrow. He has to get his heart better. Tomorrow is going to be really cool.

It's almost spring break. We get nine days off of school. We're not going to take a vacation then, but we are going to this summer. We are going to go to Vancouver. I know about Vancouver because we watched the Olympics. I watched Shaun White and I want to be a snowboarder, too.

Goodbye. Peace out!

Hello. It's me, Benjy.
I went to Lifetime Fitness today with Connor and Sophie and Jessica. First, I went on the rock climbing wall. I rang the bell at the top nine times. Second, I went in the swimming pool. I swam for a long time. Then, I went home and ate dinner. At the end of dinner, people came over to our house. They were our family. I was most excited to see my cousin, Laura.

My grandpa is going to go to the hospital tomorrow. He's going to get his heart fixed. I'm going to visit him there tomorrow. Then, the next day is my grandpa's birthday. If the nurses don't let him eat his birthday cake, I will!!!

Seeya later, alligator. After while, crocodile.
